Global Growth Conference

To kick off the Optum Health Annual Sales Meeting, we created a fun and engaging skit video called
“Optum-isms,” which humorously addressed the challenges faced by Optum’s sales teams. Drawing inspiration from real stories shared by sales executives, we crafted several comedic segments that both entertained and resonated with the audience.

 

One segment highlighted the overwhelming number of solutions Optum offers, underscoring the difficulty customers face in navigating the vast portfolio. Another focused on the complexity of working within the large UnitedHealth Group ecosystem, humorously depicting a fictitious need  for multiple business cards for
each division.

 

The video also tackled the issue of overlapping meeting schedules, showing how multiple salespeople often schedule meetings with the same clients on the same day, leading to confusion. Finally, it addressed the importance of concise messaging, poking fun at long presentations and emphasizing the need for quicker, more impactful pitches.

Real sales team members volunteered as actors, making the video authentic and relatable. The result was an opening session that not only entertained but also provided valuable insights, leaving the audience laughing and engaged.
