Education of sales teams was a top priority prior to the launch of the Atellica Solution diagnostic testing platform. The laboratory diagnostics sales teams around the world needed intensive training on the new product line. In order to cover as many sales staff as possible, it was decided to host two large events that were held over a three-day period and within a week of each other. This scheduling was done so that everyone was trained as close as possible before the launch. One was held in the U.S. and other overseas. We developed training classes, large group sessions, breakout sessions, and utilized a customer event app for attendees to track their progress and view all the materials on iPads that were provided to each attendee. Both events were very successful, and attendees provided great feedback.
